SYNOPSIS:
During a murder investigation, an artist-turned-detective with a special gift to solve cases by drawing his crime scenes struggles with his ability as he keeps getting distracted by the appearance of ambiguous clues that are leading him in confusing and possibly tragic directions.
This could be described as an existential detective story with a unique slant and some dark humor involved. A combination of still photographs and motion images will be used to tell this story.
This is a fourth year Ryerson University senior project. The movie (roughly 15 minutes) will be shot entirely in downtown Toronto. It will likely be shot over about five days during the mid-to-late Fall Term. The script is entirely interior (no cold, bitter shooting days.) Currently non-ACTRA, but registration is a possibility if we cast ACTRA members.
