SYNOPSIS:
Eddy is a guy whose life is very much maintained and scheduled. He wakes up, goes to work, leaves and arrives at his apartment at the same time every day. The only thing about Eddy is that he has no friends except for his roommate Luke. He has always been socially awkward and introverted, which Eddy has accepted. The one thing that makes Eddy's life interesting to him is his love for comics. Every week he buys them and reads them intently every day. One day he notices a female, Kiara, whom he sees as the day progresses. Through a chance encounter, they meet and end up talking. To Eddy's amazement she ends up liking comics too, and the two divulge in a relationship. As their relationship ensues, Eddy's character changes as he starts to break out of his shell and come into his own. However, one day Kiara never shows up and Eddy must now learn to separate himself from his comics and his old self.

1. Female / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. KIARA is in her mid-20's and is very outgoing and cute. She is a very likeable character- always happy and optimistic. Despite Eddy's shortcomings, Kiara manages to get Eddy to open up to her like no one has ever done. Kiara has very good fashion sense, always wearing colourful clothes- almost reminiscent of a character out of a comic book or anime stories. It is preferred to be Oriental or Asian, but not required

2. Male / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. LUKE is almost Eddy's antithesis. He is laid back, carefree and is almost always shown with his friends. He doesn't quite understand Eddy's awkwardness and will bet with his friends on how predictable Eddy is, yet always tries to help out Eddy in his lack of socializing skills. Luke is the comic relief of the piece.

3. Male / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. EDDY is in his mid-20's, has a full time job and lives with roommate Luke in an apartment. He is an introvert, and not really capable of socializing and making friends. He leads a monotonous life, never interacting with anyone but doesn't mind leading that kind of life. He is a big comic book fan and is obsessed over it. The movie is a coming of age story revolving around Eddy. He has always used the comic book as his security blanket, but with Kiara he now no longer needs to depend on anything but himself.
