SYNOPSIS:

MNEMOSYNE is a romantic comedy about recalling the path to a broken marriage when it's already too late. Tomas faces the end of his marriage with Jane and perhaps the end of their reign of self-deception. They participate in a high-faluting social surrounding where infidelity seems almost as a lifestyle and marriage as something to take cynical shots at.

Overall amusing film not unlike the style and wit of Woody Allen. 'Mnemosyne' is a double narrative as the couple split up in the present tense and the road to breakup is presented chronologically backward in the form of Tomas' memories. (Hence the title 'Mnemosyne')
