SYNOPSIS:
A normal day in Chinatown is interrupted by the shrieking of Christie, a woman who has suffered some sort of horrible accident and is now bleeding in the street. Onlookers gather, unsure of what to do. A strange little boy watches Christie from the sidewalk. And what to make of that strange tattoo of a purple snapdragon behind her ear?
The film explores Christie’s internal disorientation through experimental techniques, and also explores the bystander effect; will the people who gather, drawn by Christie’s shrieks, do anything to help her?
BREAKDOWNS:
CHRISTIE: 30-45, female, Caucasian. Needs to be able to project the terror of the situation. Also, preferably, needs to be able to do a really good horror movie scream.

OFFICER SINGH: 25-40, male, South Asian. Exudes authority but is in over his head with Christie’s situation.
GROCERY STORE OWNER:: 50-70, female, Chinese. Is drawn out of her store by Christie’s screaming.
Extras of any age and ethnicity to play Crowd Males and Females.
