Synopsis: A short film that comments on the always-uncomfortable situation of having to say good-bye.
Lauren doesn't understand how her boyfriend Martin hasn't been able to get over his mother's death after a year. Being quite insensitive, Lauren feels that Martin's mother is being a third wheel in their relationship.
Martin meets Caroline, a smart woman with a more clear perspective of life that helps Martin to realize that being constantly visited by his mother is not necessarily a bad thing but a special condition.
Lazarus is a short film that deals with human relationships and the fascinating circumstance of finding support and sympathy in those that are not so close to us.

Breakdowns
1. MARTIN: Male / 25-30 yrs. / Caucasian. Martin is a quiet and reserved man. Doesn't like showing his feelings or talking about emotional issues. However after a year of dealing with the pain of his mother's death, needs to vent. His confusion brings him to the point where he is no longer into his relationship with Lauren. Improvisational skills would also be an asset to this role.
2. DIANE: Female / 25-30 yrs. / Caucasian. Lauren loves Martin and for a long time has been waiting for him to get over his mother's death. However, she is reaching the limit and doesn't seem to be able to handle the situation for much longer. Ironic, insensitive, can come across as a selfish person. Improvisational skills would also be an asset to this role.
3. CAROLINE: Female / 70+ yrs. / Any Ethnicity. Sweet, loving woman. Very smart, sensitive and clever. Caroline has a different perspective of life that will help Martin to move on.
