SYNOPSIS:

"Miasma" is an experimental film that chronicles a day in the life of a young Toronto woman and the fascinating characters she encounters.

5 breakdowns:

1. COFFEE SHOP CUSTOMER: Female / 51-60 yrs. / Caucasian. The role is that of a dramatic and fashionable woman that the protagonist, Mika, encounters in a coffee shop.

2. AUGUSTUS PORTENA: Male / 51-60 yrs. / Caucasian. Augustus Portena passes through the stages of life as Mika, the protagonist watches.

3. BARISTA: Female / 18-24 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. A coffee shop barista who hands our protagonist her favourite coffee and is present in our protagonist's daze.

4. THEA: Female / 11-14 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. Thea is a delicate young girl who watches Augustus travel through the various stages of life.

5. MIKA: Female / 18-24 yrs. / Caucasian. Mika walks through Toronto one day where she sees a man, Augustus, at the bus stop. His image haunts her through out her day as she travels through out the city. Red hair or black hair is preferable for the role of Mika.
