Synopsis:
Kazu and Azul follows the story of a lonely fisherman, Kazu, who longs for the mermaid of his dreams, Azul, and the lengths he goes to win her heart.

2 breakdowns:

1. Male / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. Kazu, 25-35, A fisherman, robust, smiley face. He lives alone in his shack by the coast. He eats what he catches from the sea and enjoys life with no luxuries other than a boat, a telescope, and his obsession with Azul. Strong physicality, the ability to speak Spanish is a plus, along with the ability to sing Italian opera.

2. Female / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. Azul, 22-32, Mermaid, agile and peaceful, blue hair. Azul lived near Kazu's island her whole life. She has always observed Kazu and felt curious about him, but could never see past his boorish and misguided attempts to woo her. Strong physicality, the ability to speak Spanish is a plus, along with the ability to sing Italian opera.
