"RED" is a short film (shot on High Definition Video) for a "Sheridan College" senior year project.

SYNOPSIS:

While bringing some food to Grandmother, Little Red runs into a Wolf. The wolf races to Grandmothers house and devours her; he then waits for Little Red to get there. When Little Red arrives at Grandmother's house she soon realizes that it is not Grandmother in the bed. Paralyzed with fear, Little Red must find a way to escape before the Wolf can indulge in his primal urges. This film is a dark and suspenseful, cautionary tale, cataloging the abrupt loss of innocence of Little Red.

Agent Note: partial nudity; mature themes; latex prosthetics; need an 18 - 20 year old woman who looks young and can play around the age of 15 for Little Red
The partial nudity for Little Red Riding Hood would include the actress wearing only underwear. On film she would be shown from behind from the waist up and from the shoulders up in the front. Her legs will also most likely be shown from mid-thigh down.

Character Breakdown:

(1): Little Red (lead) Age 14 - 16 years. Thin, about 5'2". She is an innocent and naïve girl. She longs for a life more exciting than that of a mundane farm girl. She constantly wishes for a prince to come and take her away to his castle. Little Red grows from a playful child to a powerful woman quite quickly throughout the film. Forced into heroism and adulthood by the Wolf's actions.

(2): The Wolf (lead) Age 28 - 33 years. Dark hair, wiry build, about 6'0". He is a beast in the form of a man. He lives by his animal urges and has no problem with murder. In fact he delights in spilling the blood of another creature. He is short tempered and easy to anger. Despite his animalistic tendencies he is quite cunning, clever, and a great trickster.

(3): Mother (actor) Age 34 - 40 years. Strong woman, 5'5" or taller. She is a smart and hardworking woman. She loves her daughter very much and wants only the best for her. She tries to teach her daughter of the world and its dangers.

(4): Grandmother (actor) Age 55+ years. She is a loving, kindly old woman. She has been very sick recently and has been bed ridden
