Synopsis:

The film deals with Harry Houdini’s death and the adverse effect it had on his wife, Beatrice Houdini. After his death Bess set out to find a spiritual medium who could contact her dead husband by reciting a code determined before his death. Failure for 10 years leaves Bess hopeless until Arthur Ford, self proclaimed spiritual medium presents her with some information, seemingly something only she would know. Bess agrees to participate in the séance and is left in complete disbelief by the supposed success...that is until one final request exposes Arthur for the fraud he really is.

1. Male / 41-50 yrs. / Caucasian. Harry Houdini: The famous escape artist and magician whose name is synonymous with the art of illusion. A dynamic, brilliant man who is a natural showman, but with many flaws and weaknesses he tries to hide.

2. Male / 25-30 yrs. / Caucasian. Arthur Ford: A renowned spiritual medium who is attempting to contact Harry Houdini on behalf of his wife. He is confidant, suave and gentlemanly, a master of his craft and an emotional rock.

3. Male / 31-40 yrs. / Caucasian. Fletcher Fast: The associate of Mr. Ford. A quick-talking and quick thinking man, who although being quite cunning, lacks in manners and good morals.

4. Female / 41-50 yrs. / Caucasian. Bess Houdini: The wife of legendary magician and escape artist Harry Houdini. She is trying to contact her husband through spiritual mediums. She is a stern, hard-shelled and intimidating figure, although currently sick and weak.

5. Female / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. Maid: Mrs. Houdini's maid.
