SYNOPSIS:

Loosely based on a short story by Stephen King. A troubled father arrives at a lonely motel with his young son late at night. His wife has just died and he tries to comfort his sleepy son and explain why his mom suddenly disappeared without saying goodbye. However, the father is hiding a dark secret.

2 Breakdowns:

1. GLENN: Male / 31-40 yrs. / Caucasian. GLENN is a troubled father hiding a dark secret. He acts caring and concerned for his son who is coping with death. He tries to have a calm demeanour, but is withholding intense emotions of confusion, guilt and fear.

2. COLE: Male / 6-10 yrs. / Caucasian. COLE is very tired and has trouble keeping awake from the long, late night drive to the motel. He is quiet and confused over his mother's death and the realization that she is gone forever.
