SYNOPSIS:

This a comic short film about a quiet introverted poet who has just moved in next to a musician who is constantly jamming with his band. The action in the plot consists of the frustrated poet trying to do some writing but is repeatedly interrupted by the unbearable loud neighbours. He keeps going over to their door to tell them to quiet down, but the musicians never fully stop. In the end the writer/poet flips on them screaming into their own microphone making the musicians realize that this guy has energy, just the right kind of energy they need in their band. They invite him to join, but he refuses and goes back to try and write something. He fails to get comfortable, then the music begins again, only this time he accepts it, and starts to bob his head with it. Then in a moment of inspiration his pen starts writing on the page. He gets up and enters the rockers' house and recites his new music-inspired poem. He then joins the band.

1. Male / 18-24 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. The age for all these characters can be 18 to 30 actually. This is the poet/writer character. He is a quiet guy and he keeps most of his thoughts in his head. All he likes to do is write in silence, or with relaxing mood music. He writes a lot of poetry and he reads a lot. He also discovers his talent for vocalising.

2. Male / 18-24 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. Age-18 to 30. This is a greasy biker, hippie,punk,hair metal kind of guy. He is the lead guitarist and the owner of the house. This character is a party animal, a cliche flaky musician, and overall a bohemian. He cares about nothing but playing music and partying.

3. Male / 18-24 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. Age 18 to 30. The drummer of the band. He is just another musician in the band. He likes to play loud.

4. Male / 18-24 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. Age 18 to 30. The bass player of the band. This guy usually hides his face in hair, and constantly bobs his head to the music he is playing. He doesn't say too much, but he likes to rock out.
